An increase in tourist number during the first two months of 2014 at Hue Heritage Site
Till the end of February 28 2014, Hue relic zone received 307,297 tourists coming to the heritage for visiting and researching (account for over 30,000 free of ticket tourists), in which 202,963 were international and 104,334 were Vietnamese respectively. The revenue from tickets reached 23.662 billions VND.

 

Hence, even though the mutual economy has been in challenging situation, due to the active tourist attraction policies of Thua Thien Hue Province especially the stimulation and the enhancement on exhibition and music performance of Hue Monuments Conservation Centre, the number of tourists to Hue ancient capital alike and Hue heritage site alone still highly developed. Compared to this time of 2013, tourists to Hue relic zone grew 7.13% (13,524 tourists), in which the Vietnamese moved up to 12.86% (11,893 tourists), the total number to 9.01% (25,415 tourists), the revenue to 26.13% (over 4.9 billions VND).

As estimated, Hue Festival 2014 in April and the three stimulus programs (in the end of March, September and December of the year), the number of tourists to Hue relic zone will increase much stronger.
