The role of the management board is to advise Ninh Binh Provincal People,s Committee on management of protection, conservation, restoration and promotion outstanding univerval values of Trang An Lanscape Complex.
Its mission is to act as an advisor to the People,s Committee in preparing the World Heritage Nomination for submission to UNESCO and to conduct works related to Trang An Landscape Complex: Coordinates with relevant authorities to manage the business running operation within the Complex in accordance with the provision of existing laws; Cooperate with other organizations and individuals in Viet Nam and abroad in scientific research, conservation and promotion cultural values, environmental protection and protection of the natural lanscape in the Complex; Organizes the activities for advocating, promoting, exhibiting and introducing the tangible and intangible cultural heritages within Trang An Landscape Complex; Manages the master plan for Trang An Lanscape Complex, design and manage investment, infractructural upgrading projects, and projects for conservation, renovation, and restoration of cultural heritage in the Complex; Coordinate with the competent state agencies to appraise the socio-economic developoment projects which are directly related to and which may exert direct impacts on the Trang An Landscape Complex; Coordinated with the agencies taking charge of archeological excavation to undertake research, collection, documentation and preparation for the nomination of heritage of provincal and national level of importance; Provides guidence and interpretation services to visitors at the scenic lanscape and Heritage sites within the Complex; Organizes tickets selling and tourist fee collecting and manage the use of the revenues as prescribed by laws; Works with relevant sectors and local communities in the management, inspection, detection and handling of or any arising any problems in accordance with the law; Cooperates with the relevant sectors and localities in the following activities: maintaining order and security and environment hygiene, protecting the Heritage sites and Landscape, and natural disaster prevention and rescue works.
