Restoring 62 ancient Cham bibliographies
The central Ninh Thuan provincial Centre for Cham Culture Studies under Ninh Thuan provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a ceremony to hand over 62 ancient Cham bibliographies to the National Archives Centre II.

These 62 bibliographies were written in Cham script, dating back about 150 years.
The event is a part of the project on collecting rare domestic and foreign documents.
These bibliographies have significance in culture, history, literature, poetry and rituals of the Cham ethnic minority group which have preserved in the Cham ethnic community in Ninh Thuan province over the past time.
According to director of the Ninh Thuan provincial Centre for Cham Culture Studies, these bibliographies were damaged by climate and insects. The handing over of the bibliographies to the National Archives Centre II is for better preservation.
The project has a total investment of VND100 million. Many enterprises and individuals have provided over VND50 million to restore ancient Cham bibliographies.
At the ceremony, 306 works in bronze of the Cham ethnic minority group, collected by Nguyen Van May over the past 20 years in central Vietnam, were also introduced.
