1,000 antiques on display in Nam Dinh
The Thien Truong Antiquity Association in association with the UNESCO Vietnamese Antiques Research and Collection Club held an antique exhibition on February 16th in the Nam Dinh Provincial Museum on the occasion of the Lunar New Year (Tet) festival.

1,000 old artifacts and antiques made of ceramic, wood, pottery and metal, dated from the first century and feudal dynasties were on display.
According to local officials, that was one of activities opening the National Tourism Year of the Red River Delta.
“The showcase and the ancient cultural Vieng market-day in Nam Dinh are cultural activities useful for people, especially antique lovers,” a local official said.
On the occasion, the Thien Truong Antiquity Association presented two certificates of conferment dated from the Nguyen Dynasty and four ceramic antiques dated from the Ly and Tran Dynasties to the Provincial Museum.

“The antique display in the beginning of the year promotes national cultural values,” a member of the Thien Truong Antiquity Association said.
